Can you help me? I've been robbed...

My name is Anne and I have been robbed, I know who by but I don't think anyone can help....

I've been robbed of the ability to work

I've been robbed of my independance

Ive been robbed of a future with my husband, the chance to travel and grow old together like we planned.

I've been robbed of watching my children grow old.

I've been robbed of being the amazing granny I would have been

I've been robbed of the ability to do what I want when I want

I've been robbed of the ability to speak and converse

I've been robbed of making homemade soup and banana bread and passing these recipes on as my legacy.

I've been robbed of making new memories

I've been robbed off my old memories

I've been robbed of enjoying life, as large crowds and noisy places scare me.

I've been robbed of the life I had planned.

As time goes on I will continue to be robbed of many more and it scares to me think about it. I know the theif and its name is DEMENTIA. There is no cure and I am fearful for my future. We cannot allow Dementia to continue ruining peoples lives as this is not how I imagnied my life to be at the age of 59. Will you help raise awareness and hopefully one day a cure?

The sad thing is I have been robbed of letting my family know how I feel and this is how they imagine I feel.
