Today one of my close friends ran the Edinburgh Marathon - he's the one in the green!

Whilst waiting for him at the finish line, we saw many runners running for many different causes! I saw lots of runners for alzheimers scotland and alzheimers society! I would be lying if i said i didnt get choked up seeing each and every one of them run past, thinking in their own way they are doing their bit for alzheimers and indirectly supporting the fight against this awful illness that has effected my mum!

Also seeing the different charities people were running for and just knowing each and every one of us has our own battle to fight with what life has flung at us!

We might not feel like we are making any difference as we cannot see the immediate results - but no matter what way we choose to fight against these illnesses, just to know you are not alone and we are all fighting the battle in the only we know how!

Every little helps - now i need to sign up for a 10k!
