Yesterday was spent with mum and it has to be said it was an overall great day - sounds weird to say that as why shouldnt it be? Everyday is a new day in the world of Alzheimers, so you can never know what to expect.

But not yesterday, yesterday was good!

One thing that I did notice is mum couldnt understand how camera phones work. We were taking pictures, and she just couldnt get her head round how the picture was instantly in the phone and kept asking how it worked - tbh im not too sure myself haha.

The main thing which we discovered was the wonders of YouTube 👍👍 we managed to get YouTube working on the televison, which resulted in about 4-5 hours of reminiscing and mum loved it.

We had T-Rex videos and documentaries on repeat, mum was up dancing, talking about how all the girls loved marc bolan. Mum was just loving dancing and singing to the music, you could see her mouth moving but not really singing anything, untill the bits she could remember came on - again who am i talk? I barely know the words to any songs - but i know it was doing something for her memory as you could pinpoint bits where you could see it all coming back to her!

Main thing is she loved it, and it was great to see her so happy! Which makes me wonder, when are we going to have alzheimers activities for people who didnt live through the war? Lets get some glam rock nights on the go?
